It's kind of cheating, but the logs were downed about 5 years ago when an Oak disease came through the area and killed a lot of trees. They're dry, just waiting to be cut, split and burned. <br /><br />I have my eyes on 2 large 15"-18" Oak trees that blew over in a storm this summer. I don't know how I'd get them out of the woods though. Green Oak that size weighs 500+ pounds an 8' length.
