On The Road Again.......

Yup, I just haven't gotten my fill of riding yet. This morning, after a slow start I was on the road to St. Paul, MN. I met John at his place and we headed out for South Dakota.
The odometer at the start of the day at my place in WI.

Picking up John in St. Paul.

We left the cities on I-94 and took hwy 7 west to hwy 23 down to Granite Falls, MN. Then 67 to avoid road construction.
We stopped for the night at the city park campground in Faulkton, SD.

    1. I'm lucky, but I think I'll pay for all this vacation time later in the fall. I know there's a huge list of things to do with my name on it!

  2. Erik:

I just returned home and back to work this week. I have to wait a while before I can go out again, no back to back trips for me. You are so lucky.

    1. I'll try Richard. I love the Black Hills area of SD. Even if it is full of trailers this week.

  7. Most excellent! As the lady I met from South Dakota this summer said - the Dakotas have friendly, welcoming hills - not like the rockies that scream at you. Enjoy. I'll be watching for pictures.

    1. Karen, She's right. the hills out here are nice! There is no looking at the tree tops as you fight the switch backs. These really are hills here! In fact, there is only 1 curve on one of the roads that I have a hard time looking off out into the distance(stupid fear of heights). The rest of the roads are no problem.
