Happy Birthday Big Green Ninja...

Wow, how time flies. I was looking at some old pictures and notice the date stamp on a couple. It was 4 years ago today that I rode my '03 Goldwing out to Cities Edge Motorsports in Shakopee, MN. It was the last time I'd ride it, a bittersweet day.

The sadness was short lived as I rode home from the dealer on...

12 oil changes, 4 sets of tires, 38,716 miles later... we've been a lot of places together.

Sturgis 2009

Another trip to South Dakota, fall 2009

  2. Hey Erik, you've got time and the machine to explore a couple more 'Corners'.

May you have many more, long and safe travels!

  4. So she's a keeper?

My Connie will be coming up on 6 years old in August and has 92,500km on her (I've bought 8 sets of tires) and she is not for sale!

  6. The switch from the wing to the 14 must have been a pretty drastic change for you. At only 4 years old it's virtually new still. I have you all trumped so far, my R1 is 13 Years old.

  7. Wow four years already. Just think of all the places you've seen and the places you'll still go riding on that lean mean Kawi machine.

  8. Erik - photo number 2 - absolutely stunning!!! You got me thinking, the Star has a birthday coming up soon; 2010, but was it May or June? Gonna have to check her birth certificate! Something tells me she was a happy birthday present to me ;)

  9. Your Goldwing had a fantastic color. I wonder how it might feel to ride a sofa (make that a living room) on two wheels. ;-)
